For all you Lady Bosses out there. Here’s a little
2 years ago Dana and I bought a barbecue food trailer. I had to learn how to pull said food trailer (weighing in at a full 18k pounds) with my new “family car” aka a Ford F350 Dualie. I also had to learn how to back up the said trailer into our driveway and stop traffic on a major road while everyone was watching. Needless to say, it scared me to death, not to mention I was incredibly intimidated. That’s not an easy feeling to have. I fought, grumbled and growled.
In all of this grumbling and growling and stressing out, I learned a LESSON: The ONLY way to grow in business is to jump out of your comfort zone. Experience those growing pains and learn to embrace them. Sure there will be challenges and times when you want to give up and throw in the towel. It seems like when things get so tough and they appear to much to bear, success happens. So KEEP ON push through it, tomorrow is another day!
I promise you’ll come out of it being so much better and with more confidence than when you started even though you may have picked up a few scars along the way. Learning = knowledge = power! Don’t forget that!
Along with my new online Bible Journaling classes, I’m working on a new business series for all of us Creatives called ” Work Smarter, Not Harder- How to grow your Creative business.”

As my friend Jennifer Allwood says, “if you improve your business, you can improve your life”. Sometimes, though Smarter not Harder comes with growing pains, I know…I’ve been there.
Hang in there girl, you got this! I believe in you!,
Xoxo, Linda
P.S. I can now pull trailers anywhere and parallel park them. Mission accomplished plus I’m still married to the Love of my Life!
