Dare I say that really, I know some of you are about to get millions of snowflakes dumped on you! I love snowflakes! I always say it’s natures glitter and so you can imagine just how excited I was to walk into The Home Depot and see kits I designed sitting there on the shelves! Awesome feeling!! They’re offered at a great price too – You’ll get a 12 x 12 sheet and enough product to create three snowflakes for $9.88. WHAT? That’s a crazy good deal!
I this how-to video, I share with you a simple idea on how to make snowflakes with decorative metal sheets from MD Hobby and Craft. I love the elliptical pattern because it’s so versatile! The pattern is just beautiful too!. there is so much more you can do with it – See my post on industrial chic decor.
After attending the Paperworld and Creativeworld show last year in Germany, I was inspired to create my version what I saw. Hundreds of snowflakes adorned dining tables as centerpieces, charger plates and more. Who doesn’t love glitter and especially nature’s glitter? I used a variety of different patterns of aluminum sheets by MD Hobby to create this elegant place setting.
